4 ripe roma tomatoes

1/2 onion

1-2 cloves of garlic (depending on how you like it)

a bunch of cilantro

2-3 green jalapeno peppers

1 cup of olive oil

salt to taste.

cut every thing up and put it in the blender. blend it.

then you have salsa.

if you want, skip the tomatoes and use tomatillos and an avocado instead.

 

 

variation (pico de gallo):

same ingredients, minus the olive oil but adding lime juice from about half of a lime. garlic is optional. simply dice everything up, put in a bowl (no blending) and you got yourself some pico de gallo. - corey
